Cheeky...

:) I can't help smiling whenever I think of my youngest. He is a cheeky boy with thoughts and opinions of his own. Today, when I arrived home, he called me mummy, mummy so sweetly, I just knew he is planning something. (he usually call me mama)
He reported to me that he has finished lunch and asked me to go and have my 'rice'. Then he followed me wherever I go, and told me he want to go home. Just as I thought. Recently my little boy is very eager to go home in the afternoon, after a whole morning with grandma. He won't let me out of his sight.
(conversation in Chinese)
Me : what do you want to do when we get home?
Jay : I want to watch Mickey Mouse.
(on the way to Joy's special class)
Jay : Mummy, next year I am going to school too. Am I going here?
Me : No, you are not going here. You are going to Joy's morning school.
Jay : I have to go inside and bring Joy in.
(he held his sister's hand and almost pulled her to her class. He is more excited than Joy when they arrived.)
There's heavy rain on the way home.
Jay : run mummy, run. Rain is coming.
Me : I am driving, how am I supposed to run? We won't get wet since we are in the car.
Jay : oh no! Where is umbrella?
Me : It's in front.
Jay : Yay! Yay! We have umbrella.
Hi hi hi.... My little boy is so observant, and attentive to adults conversation, he is using the knowledge he absorbs in his own cute ways. Hmmm.... Reminds me that we need to be more careful. So far, hubby and I used BM whenever we are discussing anything we did not want the kids to know. Jay understands English, Chinese and Foo Chow, and I am not too sure that my girl is ignorant too. She seems to know everything we are doing.
