I have a terrible headache, since this morning. Yep, so what am I doing here, in front of the computer? I should be resting right? ermmm... since hubby is not back from work, I consider this is resting. I am resting from doing anything else, that needs me to be cheerful and patient. Yep, I am resting - when I am not doing any activities with the kids. As for now, Jay is playing (learning) with the ipad and Joy is mumbling things I can't and didn't want to crack my head trying to understand. She is walking here and there with her book, while stimming. I'm okay with that now. 'Coz I have a terrible headache. She might not get away with the stimming if I'm feeling fine. Believe me.
Okay. I'm trying to think of cheerful things to write, hence the title. This is a review of the things my 3 year old son has been doing for the past few weeks? months?. He is our little helper in many ways. Even with his sister.(I'll go to that later.) Most of the time, I can depend on him to help me clear the toys in the living room, before I vacumm the floor. He would also help me go around the house to get things, when I'm feeling lazy to move. hi hi... Just this morning, hubby asked Jay to go upstairs to bring down his sister's milk bottle and her bottle warmer. He went up without complaint. He is always so willing to offer his help. Whenever he saw me preparing materials, he would come to me once in a while, to help me throw the pieces of paper I cut. He loves to watch grandmother in the kitchen. He would help her get simple ingredients from the refrigerator or the table.
He is also a great help with his sister. I can depend on him to keep an eye on Joy, whenever I need to run to the toilet, or do something. For the past few days, Joy has started to take off her pants at home - due to the big, itchy mosquito bite on her upper thigh. Jay would reprimand her (like we did) and get my attention about her. Hopefully the itch would go away soon.
Hmmm.... there's lots more, but I'm not cracking my head thinking. Let's just say that this boy is a blessing just as much as his older sister, in a different way. We may need to depend on him to take care of his sister when we are old. I am just so glad that God decides to make him part of this family. Thank You Lord!
Mostly about my children, reaching their milestones, each in their own pace. Added with a dash of mummy rantings now and then. Also get a glimpse of how God's Grace helps us through the ups and downs in life.
