Hands on counting

Initially I wanted to post these beautiful creations made by secondary school students.
Hubby bought them from school Co-op sales.

The kids are both so interested with them, I had to hide some of them, 

only giving each of them an angry bird each. (hubby bought 2 angry birds)

 One of the angry birds is so loved,  its 'feathers' become manipulatives for a counting activity.
