There's not much. Just that Joy was quite responsive and expressive when we told her we are going to grandpapa. Upon arrival, she went all over the place to make sure all her things are still around. (she didn't go there for 2 weeks) She can't find a book (which I've brought home) and kept looking for it. My mom asked her what is she looking for, and she answered loudly 'Shu' (book). Other than that, she just waved bye bye to us when we left. She nodded, showing her understanding when I told her she is going to stay overnight with grandpapa and grandmama. She refused to come to the phone, even once, to talk to me. But mom said she jumped up and down and laughed happily whenever the phone rang. After jumping, she went to lay on her mattress. : (
When we arrived this afternoon to fetch her, she was waiting at the door, smiling and jumping happily. As usual, she would not let grandpapa or grandmama hug her or bring her anywhere, for fear that I would leave her behind. She slept peacefully, sitting on my lap, head on my shoulders, on our way home. It was such a moment when I felt the strong bond we have as mother and daughter. (but I can sense there's a certain boy who is watching and there's a sour scent in the atmosphere.)
Mostly about my children, reaching their milestones, each in their own pace. Added with a dash of mummy rantings now and then. Also get a glimpse of how God's Grace helps us through the ups and downs in life.
