This is another moment in my life when I felt that God is trying to talk to me, and to comfort me. With no apparent reasons, I was feeling extraordinarily irritated with Joy yesterday. I would blow up with a single cry from her, and I just could not bring myself to comfort her or to give assurance to her when she cries. I was feeling angry with myself, and kept away from her, trying hard not to hear her, so that I would not spank her. Last night, I mentally scolded myself for being such a lousy mother. What sort of mother would feel so angry with her own kid, that the kid had to keep away from her? I knew that stress is getting at me. I am just not prepared to face it. yet.
This afternoon, as I sat down to relax and go through my favourite blogs, I came across this, shared by http://asliceofsmithlife.blogspot.com/. How I cried as I watched the video. It was like a wake up call for me, to not give up on my own daughter. The Lord wanted to remind me that I am not alone in this. I am praying that He will strengthen me and guide me through.
Mostly about my children, reaching their milestones, each in their own pace. Added with a dash of mummy rantings now and then. Also get a glimpse of how God's Grace helps us through the ups and downs in life.
