Jay has been using a few new chinese words this week. I'll try to blog about them as I remember them.

Jay. : mommy, why you did not bring my medicine here?
The story goes on....

Granny : why?
Jay. : Papa cannot come to bring me home le.
(thinking for awhile)
Jay. : I have a suggestion.
Granny : suggestion?
Jay. : use umbrella! Then they can come home lor.
Ha ha ha....
Vocabulary of the week - because, suggestion (in chinese of course)
For his English... He is understanding and responding to simple questions.

Jay. : no
Mommy : is this our house?
Jay. : no.
Mommy : where is our house?
Jay. : there ( pointing to the right direction)
(in front of our house)
Mommy : is this our house?
Jay. : Yes! That's right! Yeah! Yeah!
Scene 2
Mommy : Jay, are you a boy?
Jay. : yes!
Mommy : are you my prince?
Jay. : no!
Mommy : You are my boy and also my prince. So, are you my prince?
Jay. : yes!
I just love his cute voice talking in English. He is learning to differentiate between chinese words and English. Since we are a multilingual family, I don't expect him to be as fluent as children from English speaking families but I wanted him to feel at ease with the use of English in daily conversations.
Mostly about my children, reaching their milestones, each in their own pace. Added with a dash of mummy rantings now and then. Also get a glimpse of how God's Grace helps us through the ups and downs in life.
