I initially did not sign up Joy for holiday music class. At first I just sign her up for language and arts and crafts classes. But the head teacher suggested for me to let her try music class and if Joy enjoys it, then I could pay later. Her reasons? Music has been known to create miracles and Joy loves listening to music and dancing. Well, I did give it a try...
She attends 2 hours of music class 2 days per week. Everytime I asked whether she is joining, paying attention or observing the class... I always get uncertain answers - she plays by herself, she just looks at the other children for awhile and mostly play by herself. If I asked whether the teacher pulls her in to be with the children, her answer would be - she plays in her own corner. Hmmmm..... Should I give Joy more time to warm up to the class or the teacher to get to know Joy more? Recently, the teacher has been telling me that Joy has been crying in her class. In her own words, - she seem bored or perhaps she is hungry? Sigh!
Mostly about my children, reaching their milestones, each in their own pace. Added with a dash of mummy rantings now and then. Also get a glimpse of how God's Grace helps us through the ups and downs in life.
