Throw! Throw! Throw! Dance! Dance! Dance!

Yesterday, Joy's therapist reported that she imitated her words, "throw! throw! throw!" At one time she even said it herself! Daddy is over the clouds with this news. Does this mean that she is starting to open up? Hopefully! It's nice to notice that her "Eeee" hasn't disappeared, and sometimes she will continue to "errr". For those who don't understand, "eee" almost sounds like "one" and "err" sounds like "two" in Chinese. She started these new sounds last month, after I started exposing her to my ipad2 and the talking applications that I downloaded. Now she also say "wah".

Teacher Anna also reported that Joy pretended to be shy as she was asked to stand in the front row. The girl actually bowed her head and looked shy, while smiling away underneath! To think that just last week, daddy and I observed that she did not know how to be shy like her brother, who will shy away when he meets new people. During music lesson, Joy refused to imitate or dance. She just stood there and watched. When everyone's done, teacher Anna took her hands and helped her with the movements. She did not want to stop! She enjoyed the guided dance so much that she kept pulling her teacher to dance again, and the teacher is too tired after so many rounds of dancing.
