I have been a nervous wreck for the last few days. Stress and fatigue has finally gotten the best of me. Last weekend, I actually broke down and cried, telling my son (who was just stunned) that I cannot make it any more. I just couldn't handle it any more. Luckily the sound of my dear son almost crying, helped me to try to calm down and to comfort him. It wasn't his fault, nor his sister's. It was just me. I told him that mummy is just too tired, and is feeling sick. I certainly hoped he is not too influenced by my lack of composure that day.
I did not do any 'school' with the kids. Nothing at all. Joy is having her term test, and I didn't do any revision with her. Hubby helped her with a few exercises, and that's it. Except for the drawing lesson hubby did with them, the kids were left to themselves - Jay - playing with toys, drawing and exploring the Ipad. Jay - stimming with her toys and fingers. (sigh) I have no energy to do any other activities to prevent her stimming.
Anyway, after about 4 days of dizziness, headache, flu and cough... I think I am finally feeling a little better. For the past few days, I have been searching my heart and soul - trying to overcome the reasons for my short temper and my being a nervous wreck. Stress and fatigue. I have come across a pattern where I will most definitely get sick when it's near the end of the school term, or during school holidays. I think my body is telling me to slow down and have a rest. But, can I? I still have many things to do. 'School' for the kids, especially for Joy in the afternoon and night must not stop. She has recently posed more difficulties in sensory needs, and I am actually in blank. I did not know much about sensory precessing dysfunctions. Sigh.
Like I said, I am not planning to slow down. But I am definitely going to do something about my general health. One of the most important part I need to do is a major reshuffle of my diet. I need to add in more fruits in my daily meals and I need to take supplements for my general well being. I am praying that God will protect me and give me the strength I need.
Mostly about my children, reaching their milestones, each in their own pace. Added with a dash of mummy rantings now and then. Also get a glimpse of how God's Grace helps us through the ups and downs in life.

It's ok, we break down from time to time. But with each break we emerge stronger if not, refresh. Allow yourself to have breaks & don't get too hard on yourself. Hugs.
Thanks ; )
