My little buddy

With Joy away at my parent's for the weekend, hubby and I planned to have a memorable day with our dearest son. We brought Jay to join parent-child mini sport organized by his kindergarten. It was the first time for him to be in such a function of over 300 people in a small stadium. Parents walking here and there, preschoolers and kindergärtners running here and there - there are lots to see, just by observing.
Jay stayed with us all the time. He followed hubby wherever he goes. We could see that he wanted to join the preschoolers who are running around, playing catch, but is shy. After all, they are not of the same class. I think this little boy, though active, cheeky and talkative at home, is rather shy and reserved when there are other people around. He disliked the loud music during warming up, though he loved dancing to the same music at home. He also refused to join in the fun, as the mini sport began. Instead, he wanted to go home. It was rather disappointing for both hubby and me, but it was an experience. I can foresee that we will be bringing Jay to more functions like this, for more exposure.

Oh, I forgot to mention that he brought his classmate to me, and introduced her to me. They later went off running, with my little boy trying to initiate a chasing game. Pity, the girl is not interested in the game, and went back to her parents.
